How to enable Zend Guard Loader in Plesk?<\/p>\n

Chapter 2. Answer<\/h2>\n

Plesk does not provide Zend Guard Loader pre-installed. However, it can be installed manually, i.e. on Plesk 12.5, Debian-based OS, PHP 5.4:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Download «ZendGuardLoader» according to PHP version\n
    # wget http:\/\/downloads.zend.com\/guard\/6.0.0\/ZendGuardLoader-70429-PHP-5.4-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n
  2. Extract ZendGuardLoader.so <\/code>library and move it to modules folder\n
    # tar -xzf ZendGuardLoader-70429-PHP-5.4-linux-glibc23-x86_64.tar.gz\r\n# mv \/usr\/local\/ZendGuardLoader-70429-PHP-5.4-linux-glibc23-x86_64\/php-5.4.x\/ZendGuardLoader.so \/opt\/plesk\/php\/5.4\/lib64\/php\/modules\/\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n
  3. Set correct permissions\n
    # chmod 755 \/opt\/plesk\/php\/5.4\/lib64\/php\/modules\/ZendGuardLoader.so\r\n# chown root:root \/opt\/plesk\/php\/5.4\/lib64\/php\/modules\/ZendGuardLoader.so\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n
  4. Create corresponding .ini <\/code>file with the following content:\n
    # cat \/opt\/plesk\/php\/5.4\/etc\/php.d\/zendGuardLoader.ini\r\nzend_extension=ZendGuardLoader.so\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n
  5. Restart php-fpm <\/code>service:\n
